OPAL specialises in the provision of Executive Search and Advertised Recruitment for positions which are hard-to-fill.

Our clients may have difficulty recruiting the right level of skills and/or experience from a technical or sector specific perspective. Attracting candidates to a particular region, State or Country could be proving difficult or it may be that Advertising alone is not working effectively.

OPAL often commences a project where in-house or even external Advertising has failed to attract the right calibre of candidates.

Working with a smaller number of clients in each industry we developing long-term relationships which leads to repeat-business.

We spend a great deal of time with our client’s to understand the unique nature of their organization, the role and the company culture.

OPAL spends more time with the Client and more time with the candidate.

We offer a unique service to our clients in the form of Search Assignments, Advertising Campaigns and Hybrid Campaigns involving a combination of both Search/Selection and Advertising). We can also modulise an Assignment too where we may undertake a part of the project (ie) Research, Market Research, Headhunting, Shortlisting, Interviewing, Psychological Profiing and Salary negotiation.

At OPAL we expend considerable time and thought in Researching the background to each assignment in terms of the client specifics, culture and specific unique features of the position.

OPAL’s unique boutique-style of operation ensures that we invest more time on each Assignment, Interview more potential candidates and provide more detailed Candidate Summaries and feedback/dialogue between candidate and client.

In the Interview process we engage in lengthy discussions with our candidate’s to establish where they are in their careers, key motivators and de-motivators and what they enjoy doing.
